Biography:

Mark Christopher Albrighton (born 6 March 1976 in Nuneaton, England) is an English footballer who plays as a central defender for Stevenage Borough. he joined Stevenage from Cambridge United on 29 May 2008. He made 38 appearances for Cambridge United in their 2007–08 Conference National season, helping them to reach the play off final losing to Exeter City. Prior to Cambridge United he played for Boston United. Despite the Pilgrims fighting relegation from the Football League and often struggling to field a squad of 16, Albrighton was allowed to spend much of the 2006–07 season out on loan, at Darlington and Rushden Diamonds. Prior to joining Boston in 2006 he played fror Doncaster Rovers, where he experienced two promotions, and he has also played for Chester City (on loan), Telford United and Atherstone United.
